[glow=white,2,300] The game in itself is truelly the best GTA of them all. Much more realistic, the new GTA features a LESSER map size than San Andreas (yeah Technic lol) while yet providing much more interaction and vivacity in the City. Liberty City truelly shines of life with the incredible amount of interaction between the many different elements of the city. There are no more planes, but a very large amount of cars, misc vehicles and helicopters to put a grip on. And if the speed is generally way slower than on all the previous versions of GTA, its mostly because of a big improvement in the Car Handlings. Much more realistic, the new driving handling is much more suitable to go along with the more true-to-life type of traffic in the streets of LC. No more 300 mph in the busy Down Town streets! (And no more 400 mph Polices raging at you either !!).
The shooting also has improved alot. While not as Quick-Easy-Arcadïc as the previous versions, the new gun gameplay now includes a cover mode. Yet not as well made as Rainbow Six's Vegas 2, but does allow you to live quite nice shootouts with the Law Enforcements folks who wants to arrest you for Drinking & Driving!
As for the graphics, we're truelly in a Next Gen type of game. While not exactly comparable to a DirectX10 Maxed Crysis on PC (<.< ...) GTA IV has one very pushed graphical render for a non-FPS and Free Roaming game. Unlike lineal games that massivly concentrates the graphical appearances of the game on a Forced path, GTA IV really has a very nicelly done graphic level that will give you some Very Photo-Realistic shots from about any point of view. The sun's nice, the sky is nice, the Rain effect is very cool for such a big game. Crash details, skin and surface of materials are all very surprising.
Concerning the 360 / PS3 Differences, there are few graphics bugs, screen latency and somewhat fradedrops for the 360 than on the PS3 but in overall, are pretty identical versions. Even the multiplayer, while being free on PS3 instead of the 360's XBOX LIVE (WEEEE -_-)
Unlike the previous versions of GTA, IV does not only touch the Online World, it literally Smashes it! Accomplishing Humanity's Biggest and Oldest Dream of all (or almost), GTA IV's Multiplayer features 16 players in a UnRestricted Totality of Liberty City ---> With FULL Support for Pedestrians along with Traffic! Absolutly everything! From the side options to the Police, robbers and Car stealers. Everything besides the primary missions itself!
While yet featuring many game play modes and a decent amount of customizable server options, the multiplayer allows 16 Power-hungry players fully loaded with destruction forces to inter-Annhialate themselves in the living streets of Liberty City! And thats not mentionning the included Cops&Robbers multiplayer mode!
If its not for its rich and enormous Single Player, GTA IV is truelly worth its share of money and hours of gameplay on its Multiplayer!
In overall, GTA IV might or might not be (O.O IMPOSSIBLE!!) your best game for your console, but is truelly a MUST-HAVE game and will please about all the Gamer-Types. From the bloody massacre/violence lovers to the Gentle, Realistic RPG players passing by the casual Holywood freaks! In my opinion, the best game for 360/PS3 out so far!
